Trevi shower hose - leak - Sealent

Hello There - There is a leak in my shower hose which is a spiral trevi shower hose. This is because the rubber hose inside the metallic sprial got broken. I have posted a picture below.

I would like to close this gap with a sealant. Is this possible? Is there any sealant that you can recommend?

Your not going to repair that with silicone.
Get a new hose.

That is a cut or split in the hose, not a leak from a joint, so it isn't really repairable.
A replacement hose will probably cost you less than a tube of leak sealer anyway.

HERTSDRAINAGE2010 - will any of the hoses fit the trevi ones?

Just to conclude this discussion, i replaced one from teh B&Q. It required a washer along with it.
