Hi all looking for advice our boiler is vibrating when we turn on the hot water. It's not only first use in the mornings it's all the time This is not a low noise it can be heard all over the house and seems to be getting worse. Background we had a major leak last year which ruined out living room ceiling and the system was drained 3 times as leaks kept appearing every time it was refilled. Now left with this noise and having to pressurise the boiler every couple of weeks as it drops below 1 bar.
Is this dangerous and would it be an emergency repair

Not an emergency repair imo. When was the boiler and or unvented cylinder serviced?

The service was in Feb 24 after the major leak and then Oct 24. Before the leak the boiler wasn't doing this and also the radiators are not hot at the bottom.

So it’s the boiler making the noise, not the cylinder? Either way, think you need an engineer visit. With the rads not getting fully hot, could be the pump.
