Can any one help with a bit of advice re dishwasher?

Dish washer is approx ten years old and had a new pump motor couple of years ago. It has now developed a fault whereby it stops mid cycle.
Turning dial to next setting starts it again but soon stops in between cycles.
Not sure it's worth spending more money on this old appliance.

I fear it might be time to put the old dog down
After all; it has done its job remarkably well...but all things come to an end sooner or later.
