trick to removing the heads of those plastic taps...

i've a couple of plastic headed taps which are sticking, i'd lick to service/replce them

but i can't get the brass screw to turn ( without rounding the screw hole out )

any tricks on how to get the screw to undo

would it be safe to use an impact screwdriver, not that i have one though...

If you get some thin grips you can turn tap on fully, and undo the whole thing by the brass hexagon, change your washer, recut seat, wash out the swarf, and reassemble.
