tricky spill removal

My plea:

can anyone give me advice on removing mono foam from carpet??
I actually hired out a job, and they accidentally sprayed it on the carpet!! I don't even know what the stuff is made of-HELP

what is mono foam?

If it is expanding plastic foam in a can that sets hard and sets faster in the presence of water, then you can buy a chemical that breaks it down.

Over here it is called "foam eater"

It is available from larger shops that sell the foam cans.

If you can't find it, contact the foam manufacturer, using the phone no on the can.
