Hi, looking for some advice. It's not really DIY as I'm getting someone else to do it but was wondering if anyone has experience with triple glazing and the benefits/drawbacks of it. My whole house is currently triple glazed and I'm planning to get a 3x4 m sunroom built (2 sides glass/bifold doors, 1 side brick, 1 side joined onto the house, tile roof with Velux windows).

I've had no issues with my triple glazing and it seems to help keep the bills down but the builder I'm thinking of using for the sunroom seems very against it. He says the failure rate is 50% higher as there are two seals between panes rather than one, the window U value only changes from 1.6 to 1.3 and the frame U value changes from 1.2 to 0.9 (he claims these changes are almost negligible). He also said something about the frames dropping within a few years.
