Triton Ivory 2 electric shower no water!!

Hello all

I've a few years old Triton Ivory 2 electric shower (7.8 - 8.5 Kw).

All of a sudden, the shower has stopped working. The electrics are all OK as the LED lights up. I've measured the mains voltage after taking the face plate off, its 244V.

It gave up while it was running, there is not even COLD water flow at the moment. The shower is connected to full mains pressure.

I read online that it could be solenoid but not sure. If indeed that's the faulty part, could you please help me identify the solenoid and take its resistance measurements (the face plate is off at the moment).

This is an ivory II
the solenoid coil is the brown circular part at the bottom r/hand side with the blue/brown wires.
the resistance should be 3.4 kohms or above.

Excellent post, thanks. I will check the resistance tonight and report back.

By the way, if it was indeed faulty, would you know if the solenoid coil (not the complete valve) from a Triton Opal 2 fit Triton's Ivory 2?
