Triton Satellite Shower mixer unit problem

Hi there,

Have a 10+ year old Triton low-pressure mixer shower unit (in airing cupboard) with remote control (serial no. 002930).

No problems until last week: when turning on the water begins to be pumped and then within a few seconds stops. Replaced the solanoid valve as per some online advice and problem the same.

A not very healthy pump-like-noise coming from the unit - has it had its day!? other than the solanoid, no parts or info available online...

why not just test the solenoid ????

Check incoming and outgoing pipework for restrictions - blocked filters, strainers etc.
