Hi

Yesterday our water was off for about 3 hours in the afternoon so not sure if this has anything to do with our shower not working.

I've gone this morning to turn the shower on and it's just putting out cold water. It coughed and spluttered abit when I first turned it on as we haven't used it since the water was off yesterday. I left it on for a few minutes in the hope that it would eventually go warm but after about 5 minutes it did nothing.

Also, then I went to turn it off at the unit and it wouldn't turn off. I've had to pull the cord to shut everything off.

Has anyone got any ideas? I have a Triton Caselona 2 shower and I've never had any problems with it. Just seems funny that it's gone wrong since the water was off yesterday!

Fingers crossed!!!

check the pressure switch is making the micro switch when you turn it on.
if the pressure switch is making check for power on bothsides of the tco's.
as for not turning off
when shower turned off but still runs check the solenoid valve see if its still getting power.

Thanks for your reply.

I've just checked it again and it is now turning off but just consistently running cold water.

There is power to the unit as the power light comes on straight away but just no hot water.

so it turns off and the water flow stops when you turn shower off ?

check both tco's for continuity.
make sure the pressure switch is activated when shower on.

Yes, the water flow stops when you turn the shower off. Just like it has always done.

Sorry for being abit thick but what are the tco's I need to check?

Could that be the cause for no hot water coming out???

3 - top tco
2 - bottom tco on outlet pipe.

they are thermal cutouts if they fail you get no heat.
also check the bottom ones connections and wires for blackening.
