Hi, tenants had a problem with poor flow / the hsower cuttig out.
1st solution was using limescale remover on the head. :D

about 6 moths later same low flow / shutting off problem.
Fitted new shower head - ws sorted for approx. a week. :)

Now low pressure light comes on - ( power ligt is on to confirm mains feed ) but no flow at all. :(

Shower is under 2 yrs old - any ideas on what this migt be.
If the shower unit is blocked internally with limescale - is there any way to clean it - or as it's a £100 unit is it simpler to replace - but with soething more durable??

THanks,
T

If the shower head and hose are flexible and can be removed from head height position then a common issue is the hose inside the protective braid / flex twisting.

Have you tried removing the hose and checked the output straight out the shower unit base ?

If it is the problem, just explain it to the tennnants and ask them to make sure they don't twist the shower 360, 720 or 1080 degrees when using it to rinse bums and lower body parts.

Hi - thanks for reply - but it's not the house or head - we';ve taken thoise off and still no flow at all from unit.

red light for 'low pressure' still on.

Read somewhere that it might be the in-line filter, inside the unit?

and that you should make sure thsi is cleaned before calling out Triton if the unit is stil under waranty.

Wondered how striaghtforward it si to get to the filter and clean it - given these showers are pretty cheap versus a call out charge.?

Better to just replace it - and send the faulty one back to Triton?

check the inlet filter first.
failing that the solenoid valves failed.
check the solenoid valve for resistance with a multi meter.
