Hi All

There is power to the shower, and an amber light is visible on the power switch. Water is flowing out of the shower head, but the water is cold. Any ideas what the fault could be ?

TIA

Could be the pressure switch which closes the heating element micro switches or the thermal cut out (TCO), turn the temperature control to fully cold, get a bucket/container and hold it uner the shower head for exactly 30 secs, measure this with a 1 litre milk bottle or whatever, X 2, to give the flowrate in LPM, it should flow around 7 to 8 LPM when turned to fully cold but the water will only be lukewarm at ~ 23/25C if the micro switches are made, if so, gradually increase the temperature setting to give you a comfortable showering temp of say 40C, flowrate should then be around 4/4.5LPM.
