Triton Topaz t100si Display Thermistor question

Hi,


My Triton Topaz t100si has stopped displaying the temperature saying NC.
After doing some research on here found it was the Triton Display Thermistor which probably needed replacing which I've now received.
Looking inside the shower there is corrosion around the plate the Thermistor connects to.

Firstly do you know what could be causing this, I assume I leak from somewhere.
Secondly what's the name of the plate the Thermistor connects to? I need to order a new one but don't know what it's called.
