Trouble starting diesel ?

Have a diesel van & in the last 2 months am having trouble starting it when parked on a 'camber', feels to me like the fuel is draining back into the tank ?? Any ideas

First you need to check the hand primer after it has been stood.if it is soft and you have to pump it is more likely to be the fuel draining back.I would first check the fuel filter to see if it has come slightly loose causing air to get into the system (i would personally change this anyway just to eliminate the filter) then after that i would check other fuel connections for tight seals.What motor are we talking about?
