Hanging from a bungee which is lashed across some shelving....guagers etc in a bucket. 
I have a sleeve for my skimming trowels, just made from two bits of cordex taped together, open at one end, with a slot for the handle to slide into.
Generally, at the moment they all go into a STO bucket, with the hawk in the middle. THe hawk is high enough to protect them.
However, I am a bit paranoid aboout them and if there is any danger of something falling on them I make sure they are safe somewhere eg like the bungee
