If you want to maintain peace then you have to prepare for war. Military cut backs do not help with keeping peace.

Trumpf is preparing for peace, he said Irann’s nuclear program can be monitored by satellite. A little detour indeed
 
Our armed forces were once the most feared and formidable forces in the world, We were respected by everyone and this wasn't that long ago. Once the redunancies and spending was cut it reduced our capacity drastically each year. This has gone on for more years than should have. When Starmer took over he was warned about the state of our forces and our ability to protect the UK, he knew during the Ukraine invasion and still didnt act on it. Now he is desperate to reverse this but it will take a good 5 years to get us back to where we were in the 80s. If he had acted on this 3 years ago we would only be a couple of years away from being fully armed again,. We now rely on buying in our military equipment from South Korea, the USA and other countries because it is the fastest route.

So do tell us, what should Starmer have done since he's come to power?

Bearing in mind the 14 the tories took to get us in the state we are now...

Because all the RW nutjobs ignored the tory cuts and then have a hissy fit when tax rises are mentioned :rolleyes:

Starmer has done a good job keeping us out of the orange rapist/israeli war criminal's war...

And he's doing the only real thing available to regain the £90bn+ per year since brexit...

Get better ties with the EU!

Ironic that the orange rapist worshippers/brexiteers/garbage disciples are pushing the UK back to the EU ;)
