Trv replacement

I've combi heating system and need to change a trv, can i do this by creating a vacuum?

YEAH . depending on boiler turn the isolating valves under the boiler off or screw down the cap on the auto airvent.
tHEN let the pressure go either at a draincock or out of a air bleed on radiator

May do when you come to repressure and the fill valve is blocked with grud.

Do not touch the isolating valves on this boiler.
