I want to buy good quality TRV's to fit to my central heating sytem - any suggestions to make? I have 13 radiators in total where should TRV's be fitted? I realise not in every room but where do they work most effectively :?:

And even though they are nearly all biflow now it is still better if you can put them on the actual flow.

the way i look at is, yes fit them on the flow. but you have the choice which way the head points.

On all new systems I install I use the Siemens trade TRV, excellent product and very, very cheap.

However don't use on an existing system as the tails are about 1/4" too long to allow fitting to existing pipe work/rads. In this case I fit the above mentioned Honeywells.

We will all have our own preferences, just stick to a good make and not the likes of wickes or B&Q etc.
