does anybody please have any hints or tips for bending 22mm copper pipe? I am a strongish bloke but cannot get it to bend - using my hilmor pipe bender. any positions or angles to help me to get it to bend?

Put one arm of bender on floor and push down on other arm. Once you get a bend in pipe its easy to bend by body strength.

As copper have become very expensive the quality of some of the cheaper types is very poor!
Better to buy top quality tube if you can find it anywhere.
If you heat the part to be bent in a blowlamp evenly all the way round it will bend easily but thats not ideal to have to do that every bend.
Putting some WD40 on the tube also helps.
