Hi all, the picture above is the cooker hood in my house. It appears that the transformer on the circuit board has died, but I am having problems identifying the make and where to get some advice/spares from.

The only identifying mark on the circuit board is the name Okida, Turkey. There is a spec panel which has the following - IDC Model M90 plus some specs. There is also the word Kema next to a CE sign, but I am not sure whether that is relevant.

I have searched for Okida, and found a website of a manufacturer but its all in Turkish, so that hasn't helped.

Anyone recognize this hood? AFAIK its only 2-3 years old. I'm trying to contact the previous owners of the house, but nothing yet.

One add thing that has really prevented me from testing the circuit board thoroughly is that the plug on the board has marks for live and neutral, but the cable going in to it appears to have the blue wire in to live, and the brown in to neutral......so I am a bit reluctant to bench test it in case I fry it completely.

TIA

James

If you can get it off there should be a rating plate with details on it

Under the filters is a spec panel, with the data I put in OP - IDC Model M90, but that's it and I have not been able to cross ref that with anything. I am hesitant to take the whole thing down to look on the back for any more data.

How old is the house? If young then contact the builders and they should have the information you need.

If not, then you could hawk that picture around local kitchen showrooms and see if they recognise it.

The house is old but the kitchen is new - about 2-3 years. Still trying to contact the previous owners.

I have so far confirmed it's not Baumatic (Thanks to Baumatic Tech Support), although they do have ones that look very similar!!

Looks like I may have to troll through the showrooms....
