As Dan says, you should be G3 Registered to fit this, and the installation is notifiable to Building Control

1) The tundish is a safety device which allows the PRV to operate correctly even if D2 is blocked. Not installing it constitutes omitting a safety feature, which I'm sure you don't want to do...

2) Yes. If you'd done your G3 qualifications (or even RTFM) then you'd know ;)
