Turbo diesel loses power after a while - any ideas?

Hello!

I have an 03 Renault Kangoo 1.5 CDi 70+ van, which has been running fine until recently.

From cold it fires up and performance is as good as ever, with that noticeable little boost from the turbo when necessary. However after 20 minutes or so it's as if the engine forgets it has a turbo altogether and performance becomes really sluggish.

Is there anything I can check / does anyone have any ideas what this might be?

Not for some time, it's also dripping a little (not very much) oil. Best I get it checked out at a garage I guess....

New diesel filter probably wouldnt go a miss.

I had the very same problem I had a leak from the turbo tank in the bonnet

probably worth changing the coolant temperature sensor for this type of problem. fit only a genuine part or equivalent from gsf car parts
