Turbomax (GB282/1E) CH ok,no HW

I am a plumber and great admirer of this site and gain info which helped me with my work.

I am also enrolled for a 10 day course and thn ACS exams.

My client hve a turbo max 282, CH works fine HW whn operated while on heating mode switches of the flame lights and other lights.
On HW mode nothing doing.

Whn i press the micro switch on the right hand side bottom of the diverter valve --HW works and after10 seconds flame goes out.

Am I rite in beliving that micro switch had it and plate H,exch needs cleaning or new one.

Your help will be appreciated.

Or perhaps if some 1 out there have a manual for the above, and like 2 volunteer in e-mailing it 2 me i will be most greatfull.

Its more likely the diverter valve has failed.

However, I am disapointed that you are doing boiler repairs commercially when you are not gas safe registered ( or experienced enough for that matter ).

Thank you for your reply---- just to put your mind at ease--

I appreciate your reply yes commercially i do if i feel comfortable and competent to take a repair on the boiler.,
And i quote-- (I usually work with an rgi that enables me to work on gas under his supervision, belive it or not i do not take work on if i feel that its Gas related fault)

Number of time my clients have given me a call regarding there boiler and i have accompanied RGI to such jobs .

So pls rest assure---I spent hours and hours reading their oOps post and replies of all you professional.
