Hi, quick question, i've never turfed and need some advice, i've tried to prepare the ground for it but i dont know if i've done enough, i know i still have a little more levelling to do but are there too many stones on the surface, they are only small stones but there are a lot of them in a couple of areas. It's just going to be for normal turf.

I'm not an expert, but I have turfed a fair few of my gardens. Once you've levelled and "compacted" with a garden roller or by foot, the small stones in your pictures won't be a problem for general garden use.

Once you have levelled and firmed the surface, you just want to rake it lightly to allow the turf roots to grow into the ground. When you are raking it will help the turf if you incorporate a little bone meal which will help the roots get established.
