"Turkey today began sending planeloads of emergency equipment to Britain to help medics fighting coronavirus.

The first flight from Ankara took off today carrying personal protective equipment including surgical masks, N95 industrial masks and hazmat suits, with a second flight due to take off on Saturday, according to the defence ministry."

Funny how during a certain referendum campaign a few years ago, turkish people were espoused by that particular ragtop as a (non existent) threat to this country, and most of the contributers on their website were of the same mindset.

Now suddenly they are our friends and saviours?

Did they get it wrong?

Or is it a case of beggars can't be choosers!

Have we never sent aid to Turkey? Even if we haven't we do a lot for others.

You want to try being plumber. Friends and family all want help with their plumbing/heating... But no ones available when we need help with Somthing....

Two way streets work. Its nice to get back for a change.

First Germany, now Turkey.

Brexiteers must be fuming.

It's wonderful to see a co-operative approach from multiple countries working together and helping each other.

Even the one that "didn't get the email."

Poor RAC is telling us (again) that he's frightened of foreigners, and anyone different.

We should give it a go permanently

Maybe we could set up some sort of 'union' between countries living close to one another who share roughly the same values?

Oops...

The UK doesn't do collaboration very well.

Because apparently we know about everything much better than anyone else!
