Hi,

I need to turn off my hot water to work on a tap in my bathroom but unable to locate a hot water isolation valve. I have what I believe is a high pressure system (the hot water tank a Gledhill stainless lite, is in the loft with a pressure cylinder, no cold water storage, boiler down stairs in the laundry/utility room). I have looked in the loft not able to see anything resembling a hot water valve. Also looked in the airing cupboard, there is a value but this seems to be a cold water feed. I have located the pipe that feeds the hot water into the bathroom and can't see a value any where along the pipe from the hot water tank into the airing cupboard then off into the bathroom. Any suggestions on how to isolate hot water?

Thanks

It should have an isolating cock. If you can't identify it, then turn off the main stopcock to the house.
