Hi
I'm sure that the problem did not exist when I first moved in and has certainly getting worse over the last few months. I've searched the internet and I can't find an answer.
The Fluidmaster system ( Diagram Here and I think here ) is about 6 years old and is on the top floor (3/3). The valve body leaks when a cold or hot tap is turned on. This causes the water level to rise above the maximum level of the overpipe, causing a waste of water, higher water bills and annoyance
The system works perfectly at any other time.
6 months ago, a handyman from the lettings agency said it was to do with the pressure in the water supply and that nothing could be done. However as the problem is getting worse, I would consider that wear is a problem - perhaps the valve.
Before I approach the agency I need to be armed with a clear understanding of what the problem is so they can fix it. Without it I'm back to the handyman's response...and nothing will be done
.
Can someone give me some guidance for what I imagine is a unusual problem?
With thanks
Joe
