Hi folks,

Was just wondering if it would be ok to run a TV coaxial cable through a chimney breast (inside to outside)?

The chimney is in use with a gas fire with some coal (fake I think :) ). The cable will be from the main bedroom above the the living room.

You are joking I assume?

If you're not joking then:

1) Do you think that co-ax is heatproof?

2) Do you think it's a good idea to have a hole in a flue?

I'm only asking so don't be rude. Any way I have decided to place the TV cable else where, thank you.
