TV on stones chimney, need help

Hello, I am looking to mount a tv on the chimney breast, which has large stones cladding. See attached photos.
I am concerned if the stone cladding will take the load and hold the TV.
I would appreciate your help please.

I forgot to mention above, the fireplace itself is not operational and bricked up.

Drill through the cladding and put rawlplugs into the brick, using longer screws.
