I have just moved in and one radiator on my micro bore system does not get hot.
I have drained it twice and now think that the small pipe which goes to the far end of the radiator is not connected properly
What is the connection method, push fit?
Could the pipe be broken and the end stuck in the valve?
Ideas please

Are both pipes getting hot if so the insertion tube has fallen off , it just pushes into the valve.

If only one pipe is hot then blockage elsewhere

Thanks for that
Both pipes are hot and radiator does warm up a few degrees. The other 7 rads are fine ( one has been modified for entry both ends which is not so neat)
Having separated the valve from the radiator I found that the insertion tube (black uPVC?) separated from the valve. When I tried to push it in it did not seem to seat and the radiator still fails to get hot.

Is the broken bit still in the back of the valve? How to remove it?

Might be a little bit broke in valve just pick it out with a screw driver. then just push insertion tube in and twist it , it should wedge in

thanks, I will give it a go. Means draining the thing off again.I wonder if I am losing corrosion inhibitor.
The water is quite black

Well, just re-dose it. Namesag (and he is bang on) has told you what to do.
