two double sockets off fused spur double socket

had two double sockets taken directly off an existing double socket both connected directly off the existing socket with flex wire.

should I get this checked out before use as it doesn't look right for starters. The flex cable is buried behind skirting. No cert or test results left. IEE regs are so confusing!

Flex is alright - assuming it is big enough for the current and fitted properly, i.e. with ferrules if they are in the same terminals as solid core cables.

Behind the skirting is only acceptable if it is horizontal with the sockets, i.e. the sockets are on the skirting.
I presume the sockets are not so it is not.

You should have a certificate with some test results.

Have you paid them yet?
