Is it possible to operate two RF thermostats with one receiver?
I would only want one at a time to work - the other would be turned down low.

Yes, you can get two channel RF receivers. See Honeywell or Danfoss sites for more details.

Generally, the receiver 'trains' itself to recognise a sender. The recognition is based on a unique number in the message from the sender.

So - unless it is a very special receiver, there's NO WAY for it to recognise more than one transmitter at a time. The Digistat RF models definitely CANNOT recognise more than one sender at a time.
