I currently have a RF room thermostat, however I want to change this for a programmable thermostat. I have come across two Danfoss thermostats which will work with current receiver, however one says built in sensor and the other says remote sensor. I may sound a bit stupid here but what does this mean?

A remote sensor allows you to put the prog stat box in a convenient position for you, and by running a remote 2 wire sensor the actual temp sample can be taken elsewhere.

As far as i was aware the only Danfoss models you could do this with are hardwired, not rf.

However, we use Honeywell most of the time so my knowledge is not up to date.
