Hi there I have noticed two bricks that are below dpc are constantly wet and im wondering if this is a concern? They are close to.a drain but cannot see any leak anywhere and they are not near to any pooling water. The front garden has been recently paved. Any help appreciated I will try and include photos Its the two red ones they are darker than the othets but I'm sure they are wet too not judt another colour
..

Whilst wet bricks below dpc is not unusual, finding localised wet patches in a dry spell, is.

A photo is a must.

If you pour a bucket of water on the driveway does it perchance run down to this spot?

Thanks for your reply I just double checked and it doesnt if anything goes away from home. It has very good soak away and leaves no pooling of water on the front paving...

just added two photos of when the paving was originally laid in august last year when their was no noticeable difference to the two wet bricks that can now be seen.

a wet patch, next to a drain and under a waste pipe?

why isn't it due to a leak? Is there a sink inside, and is the floor wet, or does a pipe come through it?

what is above the wet patch? a dripping gutter? A boiler flue?
