Having built an extension, I need to tyrolean a small wall. Have a tyrolean gun but unable to aquire tyrolean so am hoping someone can tell me the mix/ratio of sand to cement ???
Why cant you buy the tyrolene, it should b available in most builders merchents in various coulers.I would not entertain spraying sand and cement on with the gun, your askin 4 trouble
I bought some tyrolean mix today at H J Chard & Sons of Feeder Road in Bristol. They had plenty in stock in a range of colours.

I am about to do an end wall that has about 85% of the old paint removed leaving a rough wall. I can't paint it as the old paint lines show up like a map.
How best to prepare the wall to accept the tyrolean render.
I belive I have two options !
1 apply a dilute coat of PVA sealer just prior to applying T/render OR
2 rough up the surface with an axe [just enough to leave a mark as a key]
any info appreciated
