What have you got on the front of your house at the moment?

Well if its bare brick you will have to get it priced for plain flat rendering (2 coats 1 scratch, and 1 float coat) then it will have to be tyroleoned. You cant just tyroleon on brick work, well you could but I wouldn't do it...usually needs a flat surface to go on. If you have to get it rendered just paint it.....

As Roy said, you need to render before tyrolean.

In my opinion if you dont have any damp issues, and you say the brick works good why cover it.
Would repointing tidy it up.

With rendering, you may end up painting it every few years.
