UFH controller

I just have a feeling that the sensor is picking up the temperature from the kitchen hot water pipe, which come from the corner runs straight along the wall to the sink. The only other thing is the exact other side of the wall where the sensor is, is a heatstore boiler that chucks out loads of heat! It warms the floor upstairs where the cats like to lounge!!

The kitchen floor is: tiles, screed, electric matting, plywood (or similar), 130year old wooden floorboards and then a floor space with the pipes..

I got the electrician to come out and have a look and it turns out the sensor in the floor is faulty! So, rather than digging up my nice new tiles I have asked for an thermostat that measures the room temp rather than the floor... Hopefully they will send me one as its only 8 months old!!

The electrician has been able to get my floor heated and the manufacturer is sending me a new controller. Floor all sorted now..
