We are converting a small barn (6x4m) and really want a polished concrete style finish + UFH.
Subfloor is concrete with DPM but no insulation. We have approx 75mm height restrictions so we could have:
30mm UFH insulated board
35mm - Tekcem 550 Bagged screed
5mm - Industrial top screed
My concern is the efficiency since we don't have insulation in the slab and the only insulation would be the UFH 30mm board.
Do you think this would be ok? We have enough wall space to complement with a radiator or too if necessary but it kills the purpose of UFH really.
