Hi everyone

A friend has had a floor screeded over a wet UFH system. It is a sand/cement one.

The screeder said leave it of until the weekend but I've seen a month or so ?
I would have thought the warmth from it could crack it that soon?

So what is the ideal time that it should be left without the pipes turned on ?

The screed is 50mm deep

Thanks:)

1day per mm if it's standard sand and cement.
UFH can be run at about halfway through to speed up drying but only run at low temperatures.
