The apparent crash site was supposedly unpredictable. Have you checked out of your windows today to see if any debris has fallen on or near your property?

Did everybody survive the fall out or was anybody unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?

........... or did it really happen??

Yes, no video footage to prove it happened? :D

Various satellites have failed, and wandered off into space, or been burnt up on re-entry, this was one of the larger ones, so would crash to earth. The Clarke belt, where most satellites are (named after the author Arthur C Clarke), run at 19 degrees east? So most likely to crash around the equator. China recently zapped one of their out of control satellites, the controversial StarWars agenda that was scrapped, so it blew up into a million pieces, travelling at hundreds of miles per hour within the Clarke belt, and if one of those pieces were to hit any one of the thousands of satellites, which is highly likely, then expect countries to go into meltdown, with no TV, data, or communications available for several years afterwards. There is no need for evidence, we use them everyday, how do you think your Sky dish works? Magic? Cable TV takes it stream via satellite also. Some ATM's use satellite exclusively, instead of a dial up modem. I think at the last count, 4-6 satellites in close proximity provide the Sky TV service, and they are very closely arranged in a holding pattern. For GPS to work, at least 3 satellites are required to get a lock on signal, add that up, for the amount of services, and spy/weather satellites. They break or run out of fuel.

What are the chances of it falliing onto Dale Farm?

Kill two birds with one satellite! :P
