I am laying floor tiles with under floor heating in my bathroom which has floorboards, I was thinking of laying onto a waterproof plywood sheet but do I need to include some king of insulation so that the tiles warm up quickly?

Hi, I can not use the warm up insulation board because its too thick and therefor would raise the floor up too high, I need something about 6mm but no more, thanks for replying.

nomoreply do a sheet that's 6mm but I've never used the stuff so can't vouch for it. I wouldn't entertain 6mm ply to tile onto, so personally would be wary of using such a thin layer to stiffen up a floor.
