I am laying floor tiles with under floor heating in my bathroom which has floorboards, I was thinking of laying onto a waterproof plywood sheet but do I need to include some king of insulation so that the tiles warm up quickly?

You can use warmup's own insulation board. Wherever you got the heating kit from should have the boards in stock.

nomoreply do a sheet that's 6mm but I've never used the stuff so can't vouch for it. I wouldn't entertain 6mm ply to tile onto, so personally would be wary of using such a thin layer to stiffen up a floor.
