under size stair treads

i have an older house and the stair treads are smaller than usual, can i overboard the treads to enable me to place my whole foot onto each tread, can anyone forsee any problems?

rise and going will be imbalanced

18mm ply will be a trip hazard 12mm will still be a trip hazard but too thin

to be accurate they are normal for this type off house lol

my 1907 terraced house they are 212mm deep whilst my feet are size 13 which are 350mm back to front
