underfloor heating for 10' x 8' conservatory

Aye, with all that cabage, onions etc. You'll have you own hot air system....Perrrrrrttttttt!!!

No what you want is some haggis, neaps & tatties. Now that's what you call grub!!

Lol.........well i agree with Tony's taste for Chicken Tikka Masala, but that's the hottest i can go. I'm a bit of a spice sissy.

Aaaanyway.......so UFH seems to be a no-no from the tradsemens pov.
So the alternatives?
Radiator - really didn't want one
Electric heater - got one in my own house and my god they are expensive to run

Just back to UFH......there's electric and hot water types yes?
And both are not worth it? for even a 10ft x 8ft conservatory?
It's just that all the folk that have recommended it to me haven't mentioned the expense as a problem.
I guess quality of insulating materials and glass to keep the heat in is better?

Air source heat pump?
BiL just in the process of finishing off his conservatory which adjoins to his kitchen/living area and he's fitted a rad in the con and a £2500 quid morso stove just back a piece from the con area.
The heat from it will drift through the entire area which is about 500 sq feet. Not sure if he's fitting doors between the kitchen and con area.
Thats the second stove in his home. Will take a small forest to keep it running.
Work still in progress.

Thats not surprising as they would not be paying your bills!

Electricity is about three times the price of gas! So about £2 an hour when its cold.

It would also need to run at a surface temperature of 55 C so would be outside its safe operating temperature.
