Hello.

My house has an underfloor heating(warm water). Every room has it's own thermostat. When I turn on one of them(random one) then if I take a look at the manifold, almost all the flow indicators move down with pressure. I dont think this is normal, cause I only turn one thermostat. Apart that, another major problem, 2 room loops refuse to heat.

Does each loop have a electrically operated control valve?

What type of flow indicators do you have? They usually rise when flow, not pressure, is detected though a loop.

Well we can see you have electric actuators.

Try moving an actuator from a working loop to a non working loop and see if that gets it to work. It could be a control problem though.

Each head should be marked with the associated location otherwise you will quickly be in a muddle!

Who has been doing the servicing and maintenance?

I tried removing each actuator while i had one thermostat on. Tried to change between them, but nothing solves my problem. Is it possible that all may be faulty and not pushing enough the needle to close the water flow?

The worst thing is , the manufacturer has not pics of the pipes to be sure of what room is what , not even the electrical cables are marked...

I would expect them to need to be powered to open them.

You say some zones are working?

Do you have a magnetic field detector?

Tony

Whenever I turn on for example the wc thermostat, instantly the kitchen the living room and the two rooms also the flow pumps start moving down. If i turn on the room 1 thermostat ALL rooms flow pumps start moving down.

No I dont have a magnetic field detector :/ . But what could a magnetic field cause?

Is it an electrical problem? Say every time I turn on a thermostat it gives an electrical signal to turn on other flows. I tried to remove the other fuses on the manifold and leave one at the room i want to turn on. But again some others start also to show flow.

You could detect which actuator is being powered!

Cost about £14 as a pen stick!
