Hello,
Ive got a 1960s property getting a full renovation, it sits on a raft found with an air gap to floor height of about 400mm, I'm contemplating underfloor heating, which would be the best way about it? Rip up floorboards and insulate and pipe Between joists then floorboard back over the top then finished floor on top? Or can i use a thin insulation on-top
Of the floorboards say 10/20mm polystyrene or foiled foam board with pipes then finished floor? (Not to concerned on losing head height in room that much)
thanks in advance for advice and opinions!!
Josh
