Uneven cartridges for kitchen taps

My kitchen sink is weird. Hot tap gives amazing pressure, cold tap is pathetic.

At the suggestion of a plumber I tried swapping the cartridges and the good pressure went to the cold tap.

The two cartridges are very slightly different. (See pic)

The shorter one is the "good pressure" one, and this may or may not be to do with the fact it allows the tap to turn 3 or 4 full revolutions.

The longer one is the "poor pressure" one, and it only allows one 360 turn.

I tried to buy another cartridge like the "good pressure" one, but b&q only have quarter, half and full turn ones.

Any idea what the multiple turn type cartridge might be called, so I can source a new one?

Cheers in advance!

I had a similar problem with kitchen taps, removing the cartridges revealed badly crushed washers, for less than a tenner I replaced the pair with ceramic valves, wish I'd done it earlier, better flow, even pressure and absolutely no drips, (also the hot tap consistent flow when "warmed up") available from all the usual internet sellers, just don't buy from China as it'll take ages to arrive, but I got mine from my friendly local helpful hardware/DIY shop. If you are re-using the knobs/handles make sure you get the right "spline spacing" to fit onto there's 2 spacings fine & course and don't forget to turn the water off & drain before removing the old cartridges. Sounds like you need the shorter thread ones.
