I have a Union F97 lock in an Everest Front Door, which itself has a mutli point locking mechanism.
This is also known as the 'Everest Lock'.
The Original Yale Euro lock cylinder has been replaced with a 'Lathams Hardware' cylinder.
For the past 12 months the lock has suffered a number of failures, whereby the key turns in the lock but for what ever reason the lock sticks shut.
I have measured both Euro locks with digital calipers, but cannot see any difference in dimensions.
I suspect the Mutlipoint part of the lock.
Can these locks be replaced by a non multi door lock, I actually wish to have the lock operate like a night latch, with no handle on the outside.
Any thoughts appreaciated.
