Hi,
I want to replace an old electric element type shower in my en-suite with a thermostatic valve fed from a shower pump. The problem I have is that it is impossible to get a hot & cold supply from the water heater to the en-suite without major building work. In the en-suite I already have mains cold water and a gravity fed hot water supply. Could I pipe the mains cold directly into one side of the shower valve and use a single ended negative head pump (the shower rose is higher than the hot water header tank) to pump hot water into the other side ?
Thanks.
