Hi all,

just 2 quickies please...........


1. can unused mcb's be left in a cu? as they're sturdier than blanking plates.

2. is heatshrink sleeving rated the same as pvc cable ie. at 70°c ?

no, depends what manufacturer says but I would have thought that heatshrink is rated higher than 70°c anyway....
 
But remember to re-label the CU to make it clear they are now spare, and tie any unused wires from ex-circuits out of the way, or ideally remove from the CU altogether.
 
Or put amusing labels on them like "Matter Transporter", "ICBM Early Warning System", "Launch Control", "Reactor Cooling Pumps"....
