I have a conventional heating system (i.e. header tank in loft) it’s a old system but heats well with even heat distribution in all rads. However, I have one really annoying problem - the upstairs rads that have (Drayton) thermostic valves gurgle - at the point close to the valves. The two upstairs rads that do not have thermostic valves do not suffer this way, they remain completely silent.
They gurgle slightly less if the thermostatic valves are fullly opened, but they do still gurgle. I have bled and bled them damn near given them a transfusion! Today I bled over 4ltrs from each, to no avail!
The TVRs are about two years old.
The system has always had plenty of inhibitor freshly poured in each year.
Any ideas I can try?
