Hi all,

DIY novice here. Looking for a way forward with altering a full height UPVC conservatory. It’s got full length windows in and it’s bloody cold! Is there a straightforward way of removing the windows and in filling a material that goes say 1m up from the ground, and replacing with half Windows? It was unfortunate that the didn’t do a half brick wall! Any advice extremely appreciated!
Thanks

Probably easier to replace the whole thing. Certainly a few ways to bodge it if that's your thing - insulated stud wall inside, paint the lower half of the glass outside white or clad with pvc and stick some pvc trims on to weatherproof and mimic the bottom beading etc.
